Relaunched website in a short time frame. Tidal Consulting provided and Wordpress backend and a Theme from WooThemes, pulled in connections to YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. With very minor tweaking to the theme and some lesson in promoting their blog, we trained Chelsea and Kinsey in how to use their new website and now they are out travelin’ the world reporting back. Next up is helping them with setting up AdSense and the other online affiliate marking programs.
Gloucester Fisherman Athletic Association
The GFAA was looking to create a new community around athletic groups in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The new site’s goal was to provide readers a source for news and information of school sports while also creating awareness of the GFAA to support their goals of driving down the cost of User Fees and help rebuilt and maintain Gloucester’s athletic facilities. Tidal Consulting setup Wordpress, custom built a theme from Thesis, created a workflow for getting information on the site, provided in-person training with companion custom written manuals and video training, so knowledge will not be lost through turn over. We also incorporated and trained in using social media to add value to existing readers and members as well as attracting new readers. We setup Google Apps, Google Analytics and Constant Contact, next we will help bring student written content into the mix, then advertising opportunities for local sponsors.
